Michelle McCauley

Dear Debbie,

I have a horse that is from paint stock, he has blue eyes. My brother-in-law says that horses with blue eyes can only see shadows. Is this true?

Hi Michelle,

According to Dr. Patricia Gearhart, Ophthalmologist at MSU, blue eyes just "look" different, they don't "see" different. That's pretty official so you can be "smart" to your brother-in-law. Hope this helps you! Thank you for your email.

Debbie
