LAST MONTH'S TRIVIA CONTEST WINNER:
Last Month's Question:Which breed of horse/pony is of Arabian decent and used in traditional Spanish sporting events against bulls?
Answer:HISPANO, According to Fun Trivia, The Hispano horse is also called the Spanish Anglo-Arab. They resulted from a cross of mares of Arabian and Andalusian heritage and English Thoroughbred stallions. Also, for this reason, they are called Tres' Sangras (three blood). Hispanos can vary quite considerably, with Arabian, Andalusian, or Thoroughbred features becoming dominant. On a disposition scale of 1-4, 4 being calmest, Hispanos are a 3. They are generally of a good disposition. They need to be, in the ring with the bull.
Thanks to everyone who submitted their entry. We encourage everyone to try again each month - and we appreciate hearing from you!
