The InStall Hay OptiMizer® is a durable slow feeder that takes just a few seconds to load with a day’s worth of hay. Your horse will be so content with its pasture in a box.
Designed to be used in the corner of a stall, fence, or shelter, the InStall Hay OptiMizer® can be mounted on typical strong substrates such as hardwood, softwood, cement, and/or corral panels. The InStall Hay OptiMizer® can be mounted on one or two sides, making it easy to install in a wide variety of stalls.
The InStall Hay OptiMizer® holds up to 25 pounds of hay (about 1/2 bale). OptiNet knotless netting drapes over the hay as it is consumed slowly through the openings. The netting is mounted on a stainless steel assembly and It just takes two fingers in the horse-proof latch to open and close the net.
The InStall Hay OptiMizer® is made from the same trusted and durable materials as the paddock Hay OptiMizer® including an LLDPE manager, all stainless steel components, and exclusive OptiNet slow feed netting.
It measures 29″ by 29″ and is 22″ deep and you chose the mounting height, based on your horses' requirements. In our testing, OptiMizers were mounted at a lip height ranging from 22" to over 40". Most were mounted at about 34" using a bale of hay for positioning during installation.
The InStall Hay OptiMizer® was tested at 25 farms across North America, delivering over 50,000 hours of safe feeding. The design proved to be durable, easy to use, and great for horses.
