If access to an AC power source isn't practical, our 12V battery-operated energizers offer the same Ultra low impedance technology while the D-Cell provides Low Impedance protection for animals of all sizes.

If you contain your horses, cows, cattle, or other livestock with electric fencing powered by the Power Wizard battery fence charger, we recommend using fresh alkaline batteries or rechargeable batteries. Many dairy farmers and cattle ranchers purchase two rechargeable batteries so they are never without power. Make sure you check your battery-powered fence energizer periodically to ensure continuous, effective shock sensations.

What is a joule rating? A joule is a measure of electrical energy. Power Wizard energizers are rated in output joules, indicating the energy/power of the fence energizer and the fence wire. The higher the joule rating, the higher the shock pulses and the more powerful the fence energizer. *Battery not included. The battery required for this charger is a 12v Deep Cycle Marine Battery.
