A 100% acrylic water-based paint formulated especially for wood plank fences and barns. This product offers exceptional economy and durability in a user-friendly water-based formulation. Provides excellent weather protection and decoration and is safe around valuable livestock. Can be applied directly to new, weathered or previously painted lumber with the convenience of soap and water cleanup. Other applications include barns, sheds and other farm structures. Not suitable for flooring or other high traffic areas.

SHELF LIFE
2 years unopened, stored out of direct sunlight at temperatures between 40°F and 90°F.
Settling can occur, product must be shaken vigorously before use. For best results, flip pails upside down while shaking.
Do not freeze.
Coverage
3 & 4 board fence: 16 ft. / gal., both sides
1 board fence: 26 ft. / gal., both sides
Barns: 250 sq. ft. / gal.
Coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during application. Using less material than recommended will see a decrease in durability. May require two coats for best results.
Drying Time @ 77°F / RH 50%
Set to touch: 1 hour
Re-coat: 4 hours
Fully dry: 24 hours
Drying times are affected by rain, dew, and temperature. Do not paint if rain is expected within 8 hours.
Recommended Film Thickness
Wet film – per coat: 6.0 to 10.0 mils
Dry film – per coat: 2.0 to 4.0 mils
Application
Product should be thoroughly mixed before use. No thinning needed – if necessary, thin with 4 fl. oz. water per gal. paint.
Application temperature: above 50°F
Method: Brush, roll, or spray
Allow new wood 1 to 3 months to weather to reduce moisture content. Do not paint the underside of fence planks.
Airless spray:
- Rating: 0.5 gallons / minute minimum
- Pressure: 1,800-2,500 psi
- Filter: 30 to 60 mesh
- Tip Size: 0.017″ to 0.021″
Roller application: use thick nap 7” roller.
Fence Preparation
For greatest durability make sure fence is scraped or pressure washed thoroughly by removing any peeling or flaking paint before applying.
