The latch allows the gate to swing in either direction when the latch is released and easily operated with one hand. This gate latch is the solution if you have a horse or other livestock in one hand and you need to guide them through the gate. This latch also helps your fence gate from sagging or swinging which is common with chain latches. The latch features the ability to accept a padlock for additional security and peace of mind when applicable.

Installation: The latch installs to your wooden posts with lag screws, while the collar wraps around your round tube gate and secures in place with bolts and nuts. The distance between the gate post and gate is 2″–2 3/4″.
