The InStall Hay Optimizer® offers a simple way to improve feeding in horse stalls, shelters, and paddocks. This durable slow feed horse feeder loads in seconds and helps horses eat hay at a more natural pace. As a result, horses stay occupied longer while owners reduce waste and save time.

Quick and Easy Installation
The InStall Hay Optimizer® mounts easily to many strong surfaces. You can install it on hardwood, softwood, cement, or corral panels. Additionally, the feeder mounts on one or two sides, which gives you more flexibility during installation.
Because every horse setup is different, you can choose the mounting height that works best for your horse. During testing, lip heights ranged from 22 inches to more than 40 inches. However, most installations worked best at about 34 inches.
Slow Feeding with Less Hay Waste
Unlike traditional feeders, this horse stall hay feeder holds up to 25 pounds of hay, or about half a bale. The exclusive OptiNet knotless slow-feed netting drapes over the hay as horses eat. Therefore, horses consume hay more slowly while owners reduce waste.
The netting attaches to a durable stainless steel assembly. Furthermore, the horse-proof latch opens and closes with just two fingers. This design makes refilling fast and easy.
