- Love this fencing! Easy to install and easy to repair when trees or branches fall on the fence! No waiting a man to take care of the fence mending. My horses respect i too! Once shocked they keep their distance. No rubbing on the fence or posts. We've used our Electric Tape fencing for 11 years now and moved from one farm to another quite easily. Make sure you have a good ground stake. I keep mine about a foot from the base of the barn downspout so I'm sure to keep a good ground. When it's really dry when I change stall buckets I dump the dirty water at the ground post.
