The 65″ Essex Grillwork Section Kit combines strength, safety, and long-lasting performance for new horse barns and stall renovation projects. Designed for RAMM’s Essex Horse Stall System, this versatile grillwork can be incorporated into stall fronts and partition walls to create a brighter, more open environment.
The section features heavy-duty 14-gauge steel channels and twenty 16-gauge Galvalume grill bars. Galvalume provides excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, making it well suited for the demanding conditions commonly found inside horse barns.
Each 7/8″ grill bar fits securely into black plastic grommets positioned inside the upper and lower channels. These grommets help prevent metal-on-metal contact while reducing bar movement and rattling.
RAMM’s closer 3-1/4″ bar spacing provides an added measure of horse safety without restricting airflow or visibility. The open grillwork design improves cross-ventilation and allows horses to see their surroundings and stablemates.
The component-style kit is easy to transport, handle, and install, making it a practical choice for professional contractors and do-it-yourself barn owners. You supply the lumber, helping reduce freight costs while allowing you to select the wood species and finish that best complement your barn.
