Diagonal brace plates are the backbone of every great fencing system; they’re used to attach brace posts to your corner, gate, and end posts. The diagonal brace plate installs quickly and easily with only 8 – #12 2 1/2″ Stainless Steel Hex Washer Screws (included). Depending on preference 8 – 3 1/2″ Ring Shank Nails can also be used. The brace plate holds the brace post securely to the end post so that the end or corner post does not start to tilt over time from being tensioned.
Sometimes with corner posts (when two brace posts are connected), you may need to use a common hole with two diagonal brace plates. It allows for easier and quicker installation and is better for pressure-treated posts.
