The automatic stall waterer thermostat ensures the water in your automatic stall waterer doesn’t freeze. Sold individually, this replacement preset thermostat (with two open-end wires) triggers the heating pad to warm up the water.
Troubleshooting?
To determine whether the thermostat or the heating pad needs to be replaced, wire the power directly to the heating pad (bypassing the thermostat). If the heating pad warms up, then the thermostat needs replaced. If the heating pad does not warm up, it will need to be replaced.
